One for the book lovers!

Call me a book geek, or a word nerd – I’m proud of it! The World Book Fair is coming, and it’s coming soon – from 14th to 22nd February - at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. I bet that the anticipation has got all book lovers, like me, wringing their hands in desperation and waiting for the D-day, when they’ll finally be able to grab a few ( or maybe, a LOT ) of new books to add to their ( already overflowing ) book collection! Below are some trademark signs that you’ll relate to if you’re a hard core book addict:

1. We don’t just read books, we DEVOUR them!

We book lovers are a different species altogether – we can eat, sleep and live with books. Books make us oblivious to the reality around us... The only thing real for us while reading is the book and the story it tells.

2. We start living the lives of the characters we read about

We drown ourselves entirely in the storyline – so much that the characters in the book feel like our friends, their villains become our enemies too and their dreams become ours, to share and spread!

3. A cozy bed + warm blanket + a good book = LIFE SET

The perfect idea of a weekend for any book lover would be to be left alone with the books of our choice.

4. Some books become our friends for life :’)

Sometimes we come across a book that we can’t help but fall in love with. Then there are the books that we grow with, that shape our thoughts and ideas and have a major role in making us who we are. They remain with us throughout our lives like a true, loyal friend, ready to comfort us in our grief or entertain us when we’re bored.

5. We’re never alone – as long as we have a book in our hands!

Books are the only things in the world that are always ready to give you company. Moreover, they are so engaging that they leave us spellbound and enchanted with the magic of their words.
